It's been a sticky ride...

On October 3rd 2006, I bought a four pound jar of peanut butter, and today I finally finished it. I kept track of every time I opened that jar, and wrote down a tally in marker on the side of the jar. In the approximately four-and-a-half months it took me to finish it, I used that peanut butter for twenty-three sandwiches as well as thirty-six straight spoonfuls. That adds up to fifty-nine servings from one jar, narrowly beating the recommended 57 servings listed on the label.
